Thanks to Wyatt for pointing in Cosmic Church's direction! Ylistys - intimidating 75 minutes of finnish black metal, but written intelligently enough to not grow tedious. The production is a tad too clean for my taste, but that does not take away from the overall voraciousness or quality of the record. The lead melodies are overwhelmingly good and it strikes a fine balance between different moods - from melancholic and mournful to frenzied and unbridled. So much to discover here - recommendable!
